We will need to do some configuration on each persons email on Monday. If you would like to get an early start, Keith will be available at Omega tomorrow at noon. He will be available until 2:00 pm or the last person is setup.

Configuration of the new accounts is almost completed. The Omega accounts have been setup with their new usernames and will allow incoming email by tomorrow morning. The accounts of users migrated from Santech will require additional setup which will be completed tomorrow. This is the last step and at this point we are on schedule to be done tomorrow.
An important part of this process is the clean up of years of accounts whtat don't properly match. With Office 365 Omega will have synchronization between email accounts and network login. For must people the network login is your first initial and last name. So if your name is John Smith your login will be jsmith. In the past we had to use the wonky DOMAIN\jsmith vernacular to login which was caused by an incorrect install when the network was initially built. Going forward you will be able to use jsmith@omega-usa.com instead. You can still use the old way but you can now login with your correct user name.
The migration process is just about completed. I was able to get all of the account issues resolved last night other than one account. At this point we have migrated all users except for one. I will be remigrating this account this morning and hopefully we have resolved all the issues.
At this point we are on the fast side of schedule and borderline ahead of schedule. The next step in the process will be to setup all the new addresses with first initial and last name so that they are configured to go through the email filter. This will take a good part of today. Once completed I will test a few accounts and be ready to get users up and running.
